DBT Modules

Mindfulness

It's about learning to be present in the current moment, without judgment and becoming more aware of your thoughts, emotions, and  surroundings.

Distress Tolerance

A set of skills designed to help you survive emotional crises without making things worse. These skills are especially useful when you’re feeling intense emotions and your usual coping strategies aren’t working, or can’t work yet.

Emotion Regulation

Teaches you how to understand,  manage, and change intense  emotions that feel overwhelming  or out of control. It's about preventing those crises  from happening as often or  intensely.

Interpersonal Effectiveness

Helps you build and maintain healthy relationships, set boundaries, and ask for what you need all while maintaining your self-respect and keeping relationships intact.

Emotion Dysregulation

Emotion dysregulation is the difficulty in understanding, managing, or responding to emotional experiences in a flexible and effective way. It means your emotions feel too intense, last too long, or come on too quickly and they often drive your behaviour in ways that feel out of control or harmful.
